But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
~Isaiah 43:1-2

Our walk with God is a journey. Life is a journey. Are we content? Do we always want to be one more step ahead? Or one more stage or season ahead? We miss so much along the way. Let's just accept where we are. Right now. With life and God. Let's let God do a work in us right now. Right where we are. He accepts us where we are. Do we?

It's a journey. Let's view it as a journey--not looking for end points. God will faithfully lead us to different places as He chooses. None of it is wasted time because He has already redeemed us in Christ. What was broken is already mended in Him. Sometimes we just don't let Him take us there to the place of mending because we are so stuck on wanting to be somewhere else in life. Here we are now. Let Him finish His work now. Before the next stage has begun. Peace.
