For the captive, there are no sweeter words. Despite our circumstances, we must always keep pressing forward looking to our God who reigns for deliverance and comfort. All these afflictions that the devil started will in fact work for us and our good as God brings us into a greater glory, so that we might be a reflection of His own Glory. I do not believe that God's own creation can be glorified in a marred and assaulted form. Surely, we were created for so much more! God comes to restore His Image in each of us and with His Image He brings His Glory because of His Mercy. For it was not by the righteous things we have done, but because of His Mercy that we are saved (Titus 3:5). God wants His Glory reflected in all of us. No matter what state you are in, there is hope for the Christian. There is always hope, because Your God Reigns!
